If there is one thing that Philadelphia has nailed down, it's how to create the perfect beer garden experience. From the beach-like vibes at Spruce Street Harbor Park 's garden to the revered and never disappointing Independence Beer Garden, Philly’s sense of art and community blows us out of the water every summer when the weather warms up.

Our favorite beer garden, Parks on Tap, is back in the books for 2018 and looking better than ever. Brought to you in partnership with Philadelphia’s Parks and Recreation, Fairmount Park Conservancy and Avarm Hornik of FCM Hospitality, Parks on Tap will be rotating into 23 different parks in Philly for 23 different weeks this summer. Make your summer beer intake mean something this year, a portion of the beer garden's proceeds will be going back into the parks.

Expect a mix of fresh food, wine, snacks, and beer in a laid-back fun environment. The traveling beer garden takes advantage of green spaces throughout the entire city by popping up with two trucks at a time: one food, one craft beer and other adult beverages. So if you thought this past month’s StrEAT Food Festival was fun, you’ll have a blast at Parks on Tap. Bring the family to experience a festive dressed up outdoor environment, with comfy chairs, hammocks, and modern restrooms.

Parks on Tap pops-up in every neighborhood in the city, which makes this garden a hyper-local Philly special. We always let our new homebuyers and friends know that have just moved into a new neighborhood, about the event because it is a superb way to meet your neighbors and find out what is going on in your community. For those who are looking to hit one or more this summer, the whole schedule is posted on Parks on Tap's website
