Northern Liberties was once considered an up and coming neighborhood.  Fast forward to now and it is one of the highest end, most sought after locations for families, professionals, artists and entrepreneurs. The lovely small tree lined back streets will make you feel like you’re strolling in Old City. Then turn a corner and end up on the lively 2nd Street strip that will make you feel like you’re right downtown in Center City. There is no shortage of amazing things to do in “No Libs”. Talk a little walking tour with us and let’s discover all that Northern Liberties has in store for you!

Walk up Brown Street one more block and end up at the corner of 3rd street. You’ll see N. 3rd on your left. You’re probably not hungry now after that brisket sandwich, but N. 3rd is a great spot to grab a tasty craft beer or bloody mary. Come back later for the famous crispy chicken sandwich.

Keep walking up Brown Street and end at 2nd Street. This is the bustling busy strip of Northern Liberties. Everything you’ll need and want are right here. Furthest away on 2nd is the Acme were you’ll find all your grocery needs. Also right there is the Wine and Spirits store. Perfect for when you need to pick up a bottle of your favorite wine for dinner at Dimitri’s, at 2nd and W Laurel Streets. Looking for more delicious cuisine? A few of our favorites on 2nd Street are The Standard Tap, excellent local beer and food, Dos Segundos, Mexican done right, and Circles, the best Thai food around! End at the top of the street for dessert at Brown Betty’s Dessert Boutique.  We kid you not, they have the best cupcakes on the east coast.  Once you try them, you’ll never be able to enjoy a cupcake anywhere else. Magnolia Bakery who?
