PHILLY PAPER JAM
Every year, Philadelphia public schools run out of paper. While parents hold independent paper drives and teachers ration paper as much as possible, the alarming fact remains, that the majority of students finish every school year without paper in their classrooms.
The Philly Home Girls and Blue Truck Developers, LLC believe that school success is necessary for the long-term health and vitality of its surrounding neighborhood. In coalition with the Philly Paper Jam, the Philly Home Girls and Blue Truck have funded Kensington’s Henry A. Brown Elementary School 100% for the 2016-17 school year. All of H.A. Brown’s 125 classrooms will have their paper needs met in full through this funding, so that teachers can teach and students can learn without fear of resource shortage.
