Lisette Tarragano

Realtor, Rental Agent

I’ve been a Philadelphia resident for over three decades, and I’ve come to know the personality of our special neighborhoods. My goal as a rental agent is to make people smile; navigating clients to find their closest fit.

Even before I became an agent 20 years ago, I was drawn to the industry through my father’s stories, both positive and negative, of life in real estate and his incredible business acumen. Some of my first memories revolve around my father’s office, smelling cigar smoke and leather, listening to him conduct business at the closing table and falling in love with plat maps. My life path eventually led me back to the closing table after years of business experience in other areas.

You can say I’m a jack of all trades. Before becoming an agent, I was in marketing, merchandising, financial services, real estate contract review/ sales/marketing and mutual fund regulation administration. Somewhere in there I even had time to attend Temple University Beasley School of Law to earn my law degree. This comes in handy when reading a contract for clients!

When I moved here 32 years ago from New York. I settled in Society Hill where I still live with my husband Charlie and greyhound rescue, Fiona Finch. When I’m not trying my skills as an amateur chef, you can find me at one of my favorite neighborhood spots, Talulah’s Daily, Fat Salmon, or South Street Souvlaki.

In my down time, you might find me volunteering at Greyhound Friends of NJ (Rescue) or selling memorial poppies in support of veterans as an associate member of the Benjamin Franklin American Legion Post #405. I love to travel, a passion that has taken me to some of my favorite spots on the globe like Israel, Antarctica, and Galapagos Islands.

Let me know how I can help.

Azeemah Solomon

Hi, I’m Azeemah! Growing up in Center City I saw a lot of properties being renovated in my neighborhood. All of the noise and change intrigued me and for a while, although I didn’t know why or how these things worked. With houses being torn down more and more rapidly, my curiosity led me to ask my mother about all the commotion. She started to talk to me about real estate, agents, and developers which sparked an inspiration inside me for the industry.

Shortly after, I met Philly Home Girls at my elementary school, E.M. Stanton. Kristin and Jeanne came to speak to my classmates and I about our career aspirations. Their team was charismatic and totally awesome. I immediately knew I was destined to be their first intern!

As an intern for Philly Home Girls, my goal is to learn everything I can about the real estate business and support the team. I currently attend Philadelphia High School For Girls. As a Pisces, I love expressing my creativity in different ways. In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano, drawing, painting, baking, reading fictional books, and shopping at Forever21.

I'm Allison, a Philadelphian, born and raised. As a child, I moved all around the area, living in East Mount Airy, the Northeast, Bensalem and then the Main Line. I spent summers down the shore in Ventnor, Atlantic City, and Ocean City. I currently live with my husband (Philly Home Guy, Christian) in our South Philly row home with our six-year-old son, Oliver and 5, yes I said 5, cats.  We love our neighborhood, Passyunk Square, and might be bold enough to claim it’s the best 'hood in the city! Raising my son in Philadelphia, in a neighborhood I love is an enriching experience for my family of 3.

In my free time, I help run the CityKids Consignment Sale,  a non-profit kids consignment sale run 2x per year in South Philly. As a parent, you buy so much stuff!  Why not recycle it back into the community and make a little cash a the same time.  The sale benefits Lilypad, a parenting/event space in South Philly.  I also tend to my garden at Capitolo Community Garden, I'm involved in the HSA at Andrew Jackson Elementary where my son attends school.

Prior to joining the PHG team, I worked for many years as a digital project/product manager at many mighty Philadelphia-based companies.  I like to say that my love of music and my obsession with the early days of MTV lead me on my career path as I went from working in record stores to, the first online music store.  We sold music online when Amazon only sold books! From there I made my way to Comcast, Urban Outfitters and then to well-known digital agencies Razorfish, Happy Cog and Think Company.

I brought my experience as a client facing project manager into my career as Realtor. I'm excited to forge new relationships and help my clients buy, sell and rent their homes.

Growing up I used to LOVE going to open houses with my Mom, but it wasn’t until I went through the home buying process myself that I realized how overwhelming it could be and how important it was to have a knowledgeable guide. I never anticipated how proud I would be of myself, and how powerful I would feel purchasing my own home. I want to help other people do that. I love Philadelphia. I’ve watched her grow over the years into a world-class city with a huge personality, uniquely her own. How lucky are we to live in a city with such a variety of distinctly different neighborhoods to explore? I want to share it all!

In 2008 I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Graphic Design. I swung through Philadelphia on my way to job hunt in NYC, and decided to make this city my home. I bought a heavy duty U-lock for my bike and moved into a microscopic 180 SF studio in Center City on Walnut street. I eventually moved to the Graduate Hospital area, before finally buying my home in Fishtown in 2013.

Prior to obtaining my real estate license and joining the Philly Home Girls, I worked as a Graphic Designer. I was first introduced to the world of commercial real estate while working in the CBRE Marketing Department. I joined the Philly Home Girls so I could draw real value from the work I do and the relationships I nurture. I want to help people not only find their ideal home, but also guide them as they invest themselves in the city. It is my goal to help my clients plant their roots and continue to grow and improve our city’s neighborhoods, communities and schools.

When I'm not fiddling with keys and lockboxes, you can find me tooling around on my bike, checking out pop-up beer gardens and taking pictures of my cat.

Let me know how I can help you.

I’ve lived in South Philly for 15 years and I can’t believe how much it has changed! Prior to becoming the first Philly Home Guy, I worked as a Newspaper Reporter, Penn researcher for Veterans who suffer from sleep disorders caused by PTSD, as well as an oyster shucker in Seattle. Shortly after, I tried managing my own rental and made a million mistakes. Even through a tough learning curve, my love for looking at properties in Philadelphia kept growing and in 2012 I started South Philly Rental Management LLC. As a real estate agent, I genuinely want to help buyers find their dream house and eventually their dream investment property. I have a special soft spot for older homes and hope to join home buyers on their journey to find the perfect place to live.

I love the secret little places in each Philly neighborhood; like the BioPond in West Philly, the Barbacoa in South Philly and sledding the bowl in Clark Park. In my spare time I enjoy coaching my 6-year-old's soccer team, gardening in Capitolo Park and shopping for ripe avocados in the Italian Market vender stalls.

Let me know how I can help you.

Jessica Farrell

This born and raised Jersey Girl has nothing but “LOVE” for her next door neighbor, Philadelphia. When I am not sitting with my toes in the sand on the Jersey beaches I adore exploring every nook and cranny of the city, whether it is attending a Flyers game in South Philly, walking South Street/Penn’s Landing area or simply joining the tourists in Center City. Who wouldn’t love to be where there is something new and exciting to do and see every day, surrounded by truly unique and FUN individuals!

Originally from Stratford, NJ I moved to Passyunk Ave in South Philly and quickly grew to love working and living in the city. After ten years, I decided to move back to my hometown to live with my three kids but do miss the excitement of sitting on my “stoop” at night watching the world go by. I attended Stockton State College and obtained my Associates in Environmental Sciences before graduating from American Intercontinental University with a Bachelors of Science. Through my career, I have dabbled in many industries: mortgage, healthcare/pharmaceutical, executive search, and architecture. While they all varied diversely the one thing I have always loved about my jobs are the amazing people I get to meet and so jumping into Real Estate seemed like a perfect match.

As a sports mom, most of my days are spent watching my son on the baseball field, coaching my girls and their soccer teammates or being one of those loud annoying hockey moms. When I have a few moments to be me I love to read, write poetry and short stories, or get my hands dirty doing anything crafty. A lover of the outdoors I am always up for an adventure whether it be hiking in the woods of Jersey, fishing or exploring the streets of Philly. If there is a fun event or concert going on in the city chances are you will bump into me there!

Jeanne Whipple

As we say in the biz, it’s nice to e-meet you. I’m Jeanne Whipple, co-founder of the Philly Home Girls.  My Come-to-Philadelphia story is very similar to Goldilocks’ (of Three Bear’s fame). I grew up in a very small town close to Greenville, South Carolina. In a Mary Tyler Moore moment I decided to enroll at the University of the Arts and become a big, but not too big, city girl. Shortly thereafter I decided Philly was too small so I transferred and earned my B.A from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The price of real estate in Chicago, the cold, and the enormity of the city returned me back to Philly in 2002 where I bought my house in Fishtown, “Ahhhh just right”. In those first years back in Philly I transitioned my fresh-out-of-college-career from advertising to marketing for architects and real estate agents, which naturally progressed into full-time real estate sales.

At home in Fishtown, I feel rested, recharge, and myself.  I wish the same for all Philly Home Girls’ clients.  I'm here to help my team of seasoned and versatile professionals guide you on a journey to find a happy place that suites your lifestyle, discover your dream, and live in it.

Like having a baby, taking a transcontinental flight, or finishing a marathon, buying and selling real estate is simply one of the most important experiences in a person’s life.  You wouldn’t do those things without a seasoned professional by your side captaining your ship or cheering you on. Why would you ever buy a house without the right real estate agent guiding you through the technical aspects, intricacies, local customs and market conditions surrounding your transaction?  The Philly Home Girls can do all that while keeping your specific priorities in focus and protecting you from your unique fears. Everyone is different and people cope with pressure in different ways. It is our job to show our home buyers and sellers proven methods based on experience that make their goals not only achievable but enjoyable and stress-free.

My real estate resume includes top rankings in awards, service, and sales volume on local, state, and national levels from: Realogy, NRT, Coldwell Banker Preferred, USAA, Philadelphia Business Journal, the Forum of Executive Women, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and Cendant Mobility. For seven years I served as Chair of the Ethics and Grievance Committee at the Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors and currently held the position of Secretary on the Board of Directors. For me, my highest achievements are earning five-star reviews from our clients and remaining a highly reviewed Philadelphia Real Estate agent on major websites including: Zillow, Trulia, and Yelp.

When I’m not helping my team, clients or community, you can find me playing tennis, hiking with my dachshund Dash (off leash don’t tell!), reading Architectural Digest, appreciating a local cultural event or experiencing Philadelphia’s renowned culinary scene. As a creative outlet, I build new construction homes from the ground up, and delight in the occasional flip.

Check out my resume!

I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

My passion for marketing has always been a balance between creativity and organization. I thrive on helping clients find their perfect brand narrative. By telling your story, we weave our own, into a great, live, mobile canvas – a perfect mix of visual and verbal that will guarantee to shake things up!

Growing up one of seven kids, we didn't have a lot extra to spend on “frivolous” things like fashion (hair flip) as my dad would say. As a result, at a young age, I quickly became obsessed with brands and labels. I spent almost all my time flipping through Vogue and Vanity Fair, sketching clothes I wanted and in constant pursuit of the next big trend.

Those golden years of magazine hoarding led me to pursue a B.A in Graphic Design & Marketing from Limestone College in South Carolina, where I also accepted a lacrosse scholarship to play.

By graduating early, I sustained my NCAA eligibility and Philadelphia University offered me an additional athletic scholarship to play and earn a masters degree. Lacing up my cleats for one last season as a Ram, I moved to Manayunk in 2016 and graduated with my M.S in Global Fashion Enterprise. I haven’t left Philly since!

Prior to joining the Philly Home Girls, I spent time researching global fashion ecosystems all over China: Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. I started my professional work experience as a graphic designer for the Gaffney Visitor's Center in Gaffney, South Carolina ( you know.. house of cards), worked as a freelance fashion designer & illustrator, served as Harriton High School's JV lacrosse coach, and worked as a Publicist for a Production Company.

I am a proud dog mom of a  5-year old jack Russell- chihuahua, Grizzly, who yes -- has his own Instagram and is known to strike a pose. When I’m not in the office, you can find me getting my yoga on, bleeding green at Lincoln Financial, working on my upcoming swimwear line, or fashion styling at QVC
