We asked our agents for their neighborhood tips of places they love to frequent just steps from their front doors.

Coffee, Tea, and Easy bites

OX Coffee | 616 S 3rd St A tiny in and out coffee place to grab a lovely cup. They offer a selection of pastries but you can also pair their top tier drinks with a Philly Bagel from across the street.

Three Graces Coffee | 719 E Passyunk Ave - A calm (and so pretty) coffee shop that provides elegant coffee drinks all from a hot pink espresso machine.

Forîn | 226 South St - We can’t get enough of their creamy lattes, we are talking lift you out of the brain fog any day of the week. They have real good food stuffs too.

Taco Heart | 1001 E Passyunk Ave - You can’t miss this heart covered colorful spot. People go wild over their very tasty "Austin-style" breakfast tacos. Have allergies that make ordering out a dreadful experience? Well these guys get it and have a whole allergen guide to help you get what you want without the panic.

Famous 4th St 700 S 4th St - A Philly landmark since 1923 and still serving up the same traditional Jewish classics. Think mushroom barley soup, thick piled-high sandwiches, and obviously the best matzoh ball soup that would make your Bubbe proud.

Jim's South St | 400 South St - A classic cheesesteak spot that’s back up and running after a fire. There’s lots of seating, but if you are finding yourself with a line (or want to pair it with a boozy drink), you can go to MilkBoy across the street and order to your table for an extra fee.

If pizza is your jam, there are a couple of pizza spots to put on your list.
Square Pie | 801 East Passyunk Ave and Emmy Squared | 632 S 5th St. - Both will make the end of the day seem worth it. With creative toppings, crispy cheesy corners, and oddly, both are square. Must be a Queen Village thing.

Shopping

Ace Outpost- This can cross post in multiple categories as its a coffee shop as well as a vintage shop. With cool kid vintage selections and leveled up coffee, you will walk out with more style than when you arrived. PHG agent Patrick Hatfield is loving the new addition to the neighborhood “ It seems like this corner of the city has seen a bunch of independent vintage shops popping up and I’m here for it”.

BrickBat Books | 709 S 4th St - Nothing better than having a favorite bookshop in your own neighborhood! They have new and used books and records to peruse. Get overwhelmed and your mind goes blank? Tell them what you’re into and you will walk out with a winner tucked under your arm guaranteed.

Moon and Arrow | 742 s 4th St - A gorgeous boutique where “eco-conscious elegance intertwines with handcrafted artistry, creating an enchanting tapestry of timeless fashion”. Not only do they offer all the pretty things, they also hold a number of events in the shop that are all about creating and bringing people together.

Another Corner | 612 S 6th St- Congrats to these PHG clients on opening the sibling store to This Corner! You’ll find magazines, books, thingies you didn’t know you needed in your life.

The Merrygold Shop | 721 S 4th St- A favorite whimsical gift shop in our Local Holiday Gift Guide. This is one of those shops where you go to buy a gift for a friend and find two or three goodies for yourself along the way. It’s all good- we all need to treat ourselves once in a while and you’re doing good by shopping small!

Walter Pine Studio | 729 S 4th St - Want an arrangement that looks like you went into your flower garden with the most beautiful blooms ever and they happened to land in the vase in that perfectly balanced way? Fool your friends and order up from Walter Pine Studio.

Dinner and Cocktails

Southwark | 701 S 4th St- It may just be us, but we think Queen Village has some of the very best of Philly and Southwark is at the tippy top of the list. Dine in the cozy back room or on the romantic patio where it’s elegant AND friendly. Take your time deciding which balanced drink will pair best with your mouthwatering apps and entrees. Once you’ve wrapped up dinner, relocate to the moody bar out front. One of the best grown-up evenings one can have.

Grace and Proper | 941 S 8th St- If you’re looking to squeeze next to a handsome couple and end up becoming best friends by the end of the evening this is your bar. With bites and crazy good drinks and vintage Euro vibes that go on for days, you can’t help but smile and make friends.

Roxanne | 607 S 2nd St - A super quirky restaurant that features interesting ingredients and food combos. Even what you imagine in your wackiest moments won’t be what is placed in front of you. A true experience with creative presentation that tastes delish.

Scampi | 617 S 3rd St - A bit cloaked in mystery Scampi is a series of dinner parties centered around a region of Italy. Monthly menus, BYOB, and a vibrant atmosphere. “We want you to feel like you’re in our house when you’re here”.

Royal Sushi & Izakaya | 780 S 2nd St - On all the “best of Philly” lists this place never disappoints. Tiny, fun, and delish. Walk in and get casual in front, or get lucky and make a reservation for the intimate sushi experience.

Cry Baby Pasta 627 S 3rd St- I’m not crying, you’re crying- but those are happy tears over how delectable each and every single bite is. The menu is already complete but don’t hesitate to glance at the specials because they are totally worth it.

Fitz on 4th | 743 S 4th St - When you’re in the mood for tapas and vegan food that will make you blush grab a reservation here. Pair with creative cocktails, they have boozy and quite the selection of mocktails to select from.

Walking Tour: Collingswood, NJ
