Born and raised in the suburbs of Bucks County, I grew up loving the city of Philadelphia. As soon as I turned 16 and got my license, my friends and I would drive to South Philly and skate the streets of the city during the day. At night, I frequently found myself entranced by the old local music venues like The TLA, The Church Basement, and the Rotunda

When I turned 18 I moved to Mayfair and bought my first home. I settled down for 11 years in my starter home, where I made Philadelphia my forever city. During my time in Mayfair I met Janelle, my wife. We decided to do all of our "adulting" at once by getting married right after we bought our house (don't ask about our stress levels during those 3 months)! We scoured the neighborhood of Fishtown, viewing new construction, rehabs, and everything in-between. Eventually we found the perfect home with just the right amount of character on Oxford Street. Jeanne was our agent during this crazy time in our lives, which is how my relationship with The PHGs started. I knew it was destiny!

I've spent my professional life in retail management, most recently working at H&M. I hope to bring my passion for people, operations, and communication into my real estate transition. My wife and I still love our life in Fishtown where we live with our dog Rilo, a King Charles Spaniel, who is named after our favorite band. He is our pride and joy. As a family we like to adventure the streets of the hood, meet all the neighbors and pups, and frequent Palmer and Penn Treaty Park. When I'm not in the office you can find me at local coffee shops, visiting family in AC and Cape May, as well as enjoying as many horror movies as we possibly can. Our favorite neighborhood bites include Fishtown Tavern, Johnny Brenda's, and Lloyd Whiskey Bar

Azeemah Solomon

Hi, I’m Azeemah! Growing up in Center City I saw a lot of properties being renovated in my neighborhood. All of the noise and change intrigued me and for a while, although I didn’t know why or how these things worked. With houses being torn down more and more rapidly, my curiosity led me to ask my mother about all the commotion. She started to talk to me about real estate, agents, and developers which sparked an inspiration inside me for the industry.

Shortly after, I met Philly Home Girls at my elementary school, E.M. Stanton. Kristin and Jeanne came to speak to my classmates and I about our career aspirations. Their team was charismatic and totally awesome. I immediately knew I was destined to be their first intern!

As an intern for Philly Home Girls, my goal is to learn everything I can about the real estate business and support the team. I currently attend Philadelphia High School For Girls. As a Pisces, I love expressing my creativity in different ways. In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano, drawing, painting, baking, reading fictional books, and shopping at Forever21.

Allison Fegel

Realtor

I'm Allison, a Philadelphian, born and raised. As a child, I moved all around the area, living in East Mount Airy, the Northeast, Bensalem and then the Main Line. I spent summers down the shore in Ventnor, Atlantic City, and Ocean City. I currently live with my husband (Philly Home Guy, Christian) in our South Philly row home with our six-year-old son, Oliver and 5, yes I said 5, cats.  We love our neighborhood, Passyunk Square, and might be bold enough to claim it’s the best 'hood in the city! Raising my son in Philadelphia, in a neighborhood I love is an enriching experience for my family of 3.

In my free time, I help run the CityKids Consignment Sale,  a non-profit kids consignment sale run 2x per year in South Philly. As a parent, you buy so much stuff!  Why not recycle it back into the community and make a little cash a the same time.  The sale benefits Lilypad, a parenting/event space in South Philly.  I also tend to my garden at Capitolo Community Garden, I'm involved in the HSA at Andrew Jackson Elementary where my son attends school.

Prior to joining the PHG team, I worked for many years as a digital project/product manager at many mighty Philadelphia-based companies.  I like to say that my love of music and my obsession with the early days of MTV lead me on my career path as I went from working in record stores to CDNOW.com, the first online music store.  We sold music online when Amazon only sold books! From there I made my way to Comcast, Urban Outfitters and then to well-known digital agencies Razorfish, Happy Cog and Think Company.

I'm bringing my experience as a client facing project manager into a new industry, real estate! I’m learning the ropes with the Philly Home Girls and I'm excited to forge new relationships and help my clients buy, sell and rent their homes.

Growing up I used to LOVE going to open houses with my Mom, but it wasn’t until I went through the home buying process myself that I realized how overwhelming it could be and how important it was to have a knowledgeable guide. I never anticipated how proud I would be of myself, and how powerful I would feel purchasing my own home. I want to help other people do that. I love Philadelphia. I’ve watched her grow over the years into a world-class city with a huge personality, uniquely her own. How lucky are we to live in a city with such a variety of distinctly different neighborhoods to explore? I want to share it all!

In 2008 I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Graphic Design. I swung through Philadelphia on my way to job hunt in NYC, and decided to make this city my home. I bought a heavy duty U-lock for my bike and moved into a microscopic 180 SF studio in Center City on Walnut street. I eventually moved to the Graduate Hospital area, before finally buying my home in Fishtown in 2013.

Prior to obtaining my real estate license and joining the Philly Home Girls, I worked as a Graphic Designer. I was first introduced to the world of commercial real estate while working in the CBRE Marketing Department. I joined the Philly Home Girls so I could draw real value from the work I do and the relationships I nurture. I want to help people not only find their ideal home, but also guide them as they invest themselves in the city. It is my goal to help my clients plant their roots and continue to grow and improve our city’s neighborhoods, communities and schools.

When I'm not fiddling with keys and lockboxes, you can find me tooling around on my bike, checking out pop-up beer gardens and taking pictures of my cat.

Britt McLaughlin

Realtor

Growing up in Bucks County with a Realtor as a mother, and a residential builder for a father, my childhood memories are filled with open houses, job sites, and dreaming about building my perfect home one day. The passion my parents have for their business and craft instilled a work ethic, passion, and drive in me to help others realize the home of their dreams could be a reality. Whether it's helping buyers "see" the possibilities of a rehab, or finding the perfect turn-key property, I'm dedicated to your cause.

Living in Philadelphia for the past 7 years has been nothing short of amazing with each neighborhood having that je ne sais quoi drawing you in. I ultimately settled on Passyunk Crossing, where I purchased, gutted, and rehabbed my first home. Before pursuing real estate, I was the Director of Operations for a local software company. In a more distant past life, I held positions in corporate meeting and event planning, as well as Director of Sports Information for University of South Carolina Beaufort, and a mix of hospitality and planning positions.

I’ve lived in South Philly for 15 years and I can’t believe how much it has changed! Prior to becoming the first Philly Home Guy, I worked as a Newspaper Reporter, Penn researcher for Veterans who suffer from sleep disorders caused by PTSD, as well as an oyster shucker in Seattle. Shortly after, I tried managing my own rental and made a million mistakes. Even through a tough learning curve, my love for looking at properties in Philadelphia kept growing and in 2012 I started South Philly Rental Management LLC. As a real estate agent, I genuinely want to help buyers find their dream house and eventually their dream investment property. I have a special soft spot for older homes and hope to join home buyers on their journey to find the perfect place to live.

I love the secret little places in each Philly neighborhood; like the BioPond in West Philly, the Barbacoa in South Philly and sledding the bowl in Clark Park. In my spare time I enjoy coaching my 6-year-old's soccer team, gardening in Capitolo Park and shopping for ripe avocados in the Italian Market vender stalls.

Carly Harris

Realtor

Hello! I'm Carly Harris, CBS Sunday Morning's #1 fan.

Native to PA and currently residing in East Falls, I am a Temple grad (go owls!) with a B.A. in Advertising, and a concentration in Art Direction. My passion lies in serving my clients, knowing that my heart and my knowledge of Philadelphia real estate is the best gift I can give others. I pride myself on being meticulous when it comes to contracts and organization. My job is to help make your transaction seamless, stress-free, and fun!

In my life before real estate, I was in project management at an advertising agency. I attribute much of my success as a project manager to cultivating strong interpersonal relationships on the team and with clients. When I'm not helping my clients sell their property or find their dream home, I can be found in East Falls with my husband, tending to our small city garden, working on a home improvement project, or jumping in the car to squeeze in a quick North Cape May (bayside) visit with family.

I love trying new recipes, pumpkins, Hidden Valley Ranch dressing, and all things DIY.

This born and raised Jersey Girl has nothing but “LOVE” for her next door neighbor, Philadelphia. When I am not sitting with my toes in the sand on the Jersey beaches I adore exploring every nook and cranny of the city, whether it is attending a Flyers game in South Philly, walking South Street/Penn’s Landing area or simply joining the tourists in Center City. Who wouldn’t love to be where there is something new and exciting to do and see every day, surrounded by truly unique and FUN individuals!

Originally from Stratford, NJ I moved to Passyunk Ave in South Philly and quickly grew to love working and living in the city. After ten years, I decided to move back to my hometown to live with my three kids but do miss the excitement of sitting on my “stoop” at night watching the world go by. I attended Stockton State College and obtained my Associates in Environmental Sciences before graduating from American Intercontinental University with a Bachelors of Science. Through my career, I have dabbled in many industries: mortgage, healthcare/pharmaceutical, executive search, and architecture. While they all varied diversely the one thing I have always loved about my jobs are the amazing people I get to meet and so jumping into Real Estate seemed like a perfect match.

As a sports mom, most of my days are spent watching my son on the baseball field, coaching my girls and their soccer teammates or being one of those loud annoying hockey moms. When I have a few moments to be me I love to read, write poetry and short stories, or get my hands dirty doing anything crafty. A lover of the outdoors I am always up for an adventure whether it be hiking in the woods of Jersey, fishing or exploring the streets of Philly. If there is a fun event or concert going on in the city chances are you will bump into me there!
